How long does the trial last and are there any restrictions with the trial version? Thank you.

The trial version will insert a message in a number of ATC messages (so after the standard take off clearance etc). There is no time limit.
EditVoicepack works by modifying data files of your flight simulator. These data files do not support a time limit, so there is no way to make a time limit – even though it would have been my preferred option.
