From what I recall, EditVoicepack X had an error that could result in this – but I can’t remember if it was from manually editing modifications or importing modifications.
It is possible to restore the file to the last time you updated your flight simulator installation:
- Close EditVoicepack
- Open the folder
C:\ProgramData\EditVoicepackX\Updater
in Windows Explorer. It is a hidden folder, but it will open if you copy paste the name into the address bar of Windows Explorer. - Select the file
EditVoicepackData.xml.gzip
and select Copy - Go to the parent folder
C:\ProgramData\EditVoicepackX - Select paste. Confirm overwriting the file
- Start EditVoicepack again.
